Hum Dekhain Gay

Lazim Hai ke hum Bhi Dekhain Gay

Woh Din ke Jis ka Wadah Hai

Jo Loh-e-Azl pe Likha hai

Hum Dekhain Gay

Jab Zulm-o-Sitam ke Koh-e-garaan

Ruii ki Tarah Urd Jain Gay

Hum Mehkumoon ke Paun Talay

Yeh Dharti Dhard Dhard Dhardkay gi

Aur Ehl-e-Hukum ke Sar Uper

Jab Bijli kard Kard Kardke gi

Hum Dekhain Gay

Jab Arz-e-Khuda ke kabay se

Sab but Uthwaaiy Jain gay

Hum Ehl-e-Safa Mardood-e-Haram

Masnad pe Bithaaiy jain gay

Sab Taaj Uchalay jain gay

Sab Takht Giraaiy Jain gay

Bas Naam rahay Ga Allah ka

Jo Ghayab Bhi hai Hazir Bhi

Jo nazir bhi hai manzar bhi

Uthay ga Analhaq ka Naara

Jo Main bhi Hun aur Tumbhi ho

Aur Raaj karay gi khalq-e-Khuda

Jo main bhi hun aur tum bhi ho

Hum Dekhain Gay

Lazim Hai ke hum Bhi Dekhain Gay

Hum Dekhain Gay

Translation :

We shall see/certainly we, too, will see/
that day that has been promised us

When these high mountains
Of tyranny and oppression/ turn to fluff
And evaporate

And we oppressed
Beneath our feet will have
this earth shiver, shake and beat
And heads of rulers will be struck
With crackling lightening and
thunders roar.

When from this God’s earth (Kaa’ba)
All falseness (icons) will be removed
Then we, of clean hearts–condemned by zealots those keepers of faith,
We, will be invited to that altar to sit and Govern–
When crowns will be thrown off–and over turned will be thrones

Then God’s name will remain (Allah will remain)
Who is invisible and visible too
Who is the seer and and is seen
Then will rise one cheer———I am God!
Who I am too
And so are you
Then the masses (Khalq e Kuda) people of God will rule.
Who I am too
and so are you

We shall see/certainly we, too, will see
that day that has been promised us !!!

And that I had my life`s best journey from the first blast to CF to la phir ik baar to Sabqat         ( yes, that is a compliment)

So…this goes out to you the literary society GMSC … my mentor! Especially to the people who were always there – the constant dwellers of the GMSC computer lab ,to maydam!  … I wish you all BLASTING moments and successes in your life !

Back to Blogging

Posted in Hear ,Hear...!

Assalam o Alaikum ,

Hey folks,I am back! Feel real bad for being totally lethargic over the blog for the past couple of months. Can`t even describe how lousy these months have been.[Lets just assume you want to hear about it (yeah ,I feel quite important sometimes : P) ]…The new semester and all its hassle had taken me over…was succumbing to the monster of assignments, presentations, quizzes and the same old mundane routine when I stumbled over an amazing blog  and read these words `never make a compromise on your interests.Because once you do,you are pushed down a road you never wished to take .Once you turn that way, there is a rare chance that you`ll be able to revert.` And the very kind words on the part of that blogger ` never give up the yearning to become a writer and you will be ,one day`(Inshaa Allah), which made me think about the priorities. And had me landing back here, try doing what I love !

That said,I will try to blog as often as I can ;when the feelings would no longer be able to remain bottled or the rants too much for my friends to bear …:)

see you around the blog!

Of Courses Becoming Annoying With a Capital` A `!

Posted in Rants

who is the hero of John Milton`s Paradise Lost`- I can see that `oh,not again` look on your face but it is not the rant you expect it to be (I mean it is a rant in all its true essence but not  THE rant you think its going to be ). It’s a question that has tried all my levels of patience finding an answer to it, and annoyed the hell out of me. Couldn`t that Milton guy have answered this question before dying and saved us all, hours of endless-debate?

It is not an exaggeration and will be seconded by many who had the chance of reading this piece of writing. Seriously ,the guy went on with ranting about the descriptions of hell and heaven ,Stan`s planning and self-misery  in whole nine books till the actual action of fall! NINE books ! what was he thinking . Who would be reading all these books, book one and nine are the only ones that we get to read, usually ,and honestly that’s pretty much we can drag our tolerance bar to. And he went on to describe the `eating-of-the-apple`  in twelve books , totally indigestible writing adorned with `art, doth, thou and ye`s` .  (Pun intended. Btw is it still sarcasm if I have to explain it???)

Pun aside, the first few lectures were all I managed to keep my interest in ,being mesmerized with the personality of Satan and his speeches.Gradually I  became annoyed and weary of same old rants and the poem seriously started getting on my nerves.

And the annoying question…  initially it proved an interesting and intriguing thing to discuss and engaged healthy discussions on  psyches, drives and narratives but you are bound to get weary of the discussion if it pops up in almost every other class till the middle of the semester. `Is Satan the hero ? It`s so obvious isn`t it, but then how can SATAN be the hero, he is an embodiment of evil,he can never be taken as a hero .Well ,who says that hero is supposed to be all-good,ever heard about the guy called Machiavelli?yeah but… and the next round begins `who is responsible for the fall ?  Eve. Man,you can`t put the thing upon Eve ,Adam or even Satan for that matter;it was all predestination.Oh yeah,so what happened to the free will thing?well, the biggest mistake we make is thinking that predestination and foreknowledge are the same`… STOPPPPP is what I want to shout at the top of my lungs! It has been the same drill, the same questions and discussions in
every third lecture and the same never-reaching-a-conclusion discussions over the websites regarding the epic , just like a cd going over and over again…and now I hear that there are some presentations lined up as well on the same endless, futile debate.

I know it is totally irrational and naïve to think that we should not be bothering ourselves with these questions(even if you could do that,I mean the Milton guy literally left no stone unturned to throw these questions into our face :P ), the whole point of the literary work was to make us think,to justify the ways of God to men,be critical of our philosophical beliefs so on and so forth. But my point is ;can`t we just take the thing as it is for a while and let ourselves enjoy the surface beauty of the thing. (Man,its just a piece of literature why going berserk over the discussions.Remember something called `art for life`s sake`?) We should be talking about the philosophical aspect of the thing obviously ,but that should be to a certain extent ,I believe. The problem I encountered was that we (both the students and the lecturers) become a bit too much engrossed in the implicit and didactic aspect of the things that we fail to realize the explicit beauty of the work;the diction, the imagery and the construction .And in doing that we lose an essence of the thing and fail to appreciate the real appeal and worth of the work as a whole .

Here goes a straight from the heart statement for the Classical Poetry course- if your goal was to annoy the hell out of me,you have succeeded admirably ( no pun intended, btw: D)!

Got to go,  searching for my upcoming presentation `who is more responsible for the fall Adam or Eve`, over the next tab( : P) . Hey,where did the free-will go ;) . Cheers, one down!

PITY THE NATION (After Khalil Gibran)

Posted in Karwi Goli

Pity the nation whose people are sheep

And whose shepherds mislead them

Pity the nation whose leaders are liars

Whose sages are silenced

And whose bigots rule the airwaves

Pity the nation that raises not its voice

Except to praise conquerers

And acclaim the bully as hero

And aims to rule the world

By force and by torture

Pity the nation that knows

No other language but its own

And no other culture but its own

Pity the nation whose breath is money

And sleeps the sleep of the too well fed

Pity the nation oh pity the people

who allow their rights to erode

and their freedoms to be washed away

My country, tears of thee

Sweet land of liberty!

Happy 64th Independence to all!

I had intended to write a short and sweet `jashn e azadi` note but the `sohni dharti Allah rkhay qadam qadam aabad tujhay …` blaring from the neighbours` stereo got me all `senti` ( is that even a word ) and here I am turning my short and sweet note to a lambi kahani ,though still trying to keep the sweet element intact. And here go my rants:

Sixty four years…phew…the journey has been a long one, though not a very glorious one ( God ! I am turning off the handle again , why can`t I keep the bitter element out of my conversation…must be the DSMS) so, as I was saying that the journey has not been real `golden` ( let me finish ,guys) but it has been one with its share of some amazing moments and victories and assets.

As we all know that India with the connivance of the British started to create problems for the newly born state since its day of inception and it is evident from the many ventures which they took, that they had believed that succumbing to the hurdles created by them , Pakistan would ultimately join the Indian Federation , the goal of a `United India` would be achieved  and that Pakistan would be a transient phase (courtesy :  my Pakistan Studies books ). But by the Grace of Allah that never happened and let us have a belief that it never will  , Inshaa Allah. Pakistan dealt with the pressure gloriously and survived ,all because of the sheer determination ,unity ,amazing leadership and the force of character of its people.

Today, the threats Pakistan faces are the same as the day of its creation ( the tactics have changed over the years but the forces ,the intentions and motivations behind them remain the same ). But those are the external threats , the real threats which have mounted over the years are more internal in nature, arising from within the walls of the country.

The foremost being provincialism  (  the sweet element is evaporating, God! Can’t I just keep out of talking about the problems …??? it seems of late, I am suffering from a DSMS ( read Dr.Shahid Masood  can`t help-being a –pain- in -the ass ,syndrome) that said I cannot  stop discussing the problems, after all I am an average Pakistani who just knows to discuss the problems at length so, you will just have to put up with me and no, you cannot leave the page , it has an exit control list for those of you who do not read it through) So ,as you cannot leave the page let us talk about provincialism(talk about cheap tactics). It is high time we realize the fact that our self-created cheaply -sentimental provincialism is eating at the roots of our national structure. Let us stop categorizing ourselves as Punjabis ,Balochis, Sindhis,Pathans ( and for my family and friends, Kashmiris). All of us are first Muslims and then Pakistanis –that’s all there is to it ! Let us all vow to be Pakistanis !

People, bringing a change is in our hands, we just have to be united and get out of our limbos  .I doubt most of you have heard `ab khud kuch krna pare ga ` song by Atif Aslam and Strings, no, I guess I am mistaken there , most of you have heard practically everything AA sings its just that you did not contemplate on this one because it did not involve the emotions of `doorie` from your loved one… (Man ! I have to control my hands to stop typing everything that comes to my mind ). So, the thing is that these writers and singer logs talk of `js ma tm nahi shaamil wo nizam badlo bhi` umeed e sehar, `fizaaun ma lehraye ga surkh parcham`  and `ab khud kuch karna pare ga ` not just because they like to croon. See ? We try to get away with blaming the leadership for practically everything( even for the way Misbah ul Haq played). It is us who elect them .Guys, we have had enough , let us realize the damage we all have  done in our respective capacities. Let us all vote for change this time,Come on, let us all give Khan a chance. We should not be afraid of taking chances, we have tried them all (shamefully, we even tried that `evident fraud` ogre of a `bhaaie` as well… ). Let us all try Khan for this once,if  anything else he is not a corrupt politician  (at least he has got a nice smile… God ! I had wanted it to be a subtle write-up )..

Pray for the Pakistan ,in this Holy month. Pray that it rises above all difficulties.Pray for its survival and integirity .

As we usher into the sixty fifth year of our independence, let us make  resolutions ( yes, the thing can be made apart from the new year ), small ones to begin with and let us promise ourselves that we will remain loyal to our `Strengthen Pakistan` resolutions :

  • Let us all try in our respective capacities and our lives to keep the true spirit of the religion on which Pakistan was made ,alive and intact . We will oppose any `enlightened` fashion which is deteriorating the roots of the religion.
  • Keep the `Pak` in `Pak`-is-tan intact . Keep the land clean !. Guys, we would all be avoiding to throw litter on the public places and roads and will inspire others to do the same . ( Stop crooning to pak pak Pakistan, saaaf saaf Pakistan and read ahead)
  • We will all try to curb the menace of provincialism . To begin with the Punjabis won`t be taunting the Pakhtuns or the Sindhis and vice versa.. People, the thing called provincialism is being inculcating into our society through seemingly harmless fun ( beruuni taaqaten are behind all this… Man! I so sound like `the braadran` when I say this )- stop making fun of the pathans in your jokes.  Tell you what , the pathans occupy the most competitive positions  in our medical ,engineering and army and they are anything but dumb. We foster the sentiments of hatred and fragmentize the nation by this and similar`all good fun` of ours.
  • The most important of all is to promise ourselves never to get used to the circumstances and keep the fire of hope, passion and change burning . We should try (no matter hard it is) to see the glass of the country`s situation as half full rather than half empty. The day we extinguish that flame of hope ,is the day we will begin to die as a nation

mauj barhay ya andhi aye diya jalaye rakhna ha ghar ki khaatir sso dukh jhelen ghar tau akhir apna ha..

  • Whenever the pessimism looms over  ,  think of Ali Moeen Nawazish, Laal, Abdul Sattar Edhi, Imran Khan ,Kamran Shahid , all the revolutionary young writers , volunteers of the country    … the hope of a better tomorrow ! trust me people it works.
  • We will try to save up our resources. We will turn off electicity if not needed to ensure that all of us get the electric supply.
  • Those of us who are students, should always have a yearning and spirit to pay back to the land through our education. We should have the passion that instead of sharing my expertise abroad  I will help the land which made my identity , make its name .
  • Be honest to your dealings ,to your profession .
  • We will always be proud being Pakistanis . Remember, a true patriot always stands beside his flag with his head raised ,no matter how crises-stricken land that flag represents and takes pride in that piece of land for he knows that it is because of this land that he is able to breathe freely , is a man of his own will( courtesy : a foh-wurd text).

To all who have just given up , I would say that crises and adversities strike almost every  other nation . Some succumb to it others rise out of the difficulties a stronger nation. Let us be the latter one. Come on, let us Play our part!

That was all , I wanted to talk about ( thank you for putting up with me ) . You might find the resolutions clichéd but believe me  let us just try out bit by bit and experience the change for ourselves. Let us all play our little parts and become a part of the great movement- of strengthening Pakistan !

Here go the lyrics of the beautiful national song `khayal rakhna` by the maestro Jahangir . The following lines are what I actually intended to be the message on this independence day  . I know you are making that face which clearly reads `tau ye ooper wala sb kya tha` ,well people ,it was supposed to be the foreword. ( No pun intended!) . Here go the amazing lyrics;

naey dinon ki musaafaton ko ujaalna hai
wafa se aasooda saaton ko sambhaalna hai
ummeed-e-subh-e-jamaal rakhna, khayal rakhna
khayaal rakhna, khayaal rakhna, khayaal rakhna

yeh dhoop is ki, yeh chaaon is ki, hamaari daulat
yeh khaak-e-paak is ki apni izzat hai apni azmat

naey dinon ki musaafaton ko ujaalna hai
wafa se aasooda saaton ko sambhaalna hai
ummeed-e-subh-e-jamaal rakhna, khayal rakhna
khayaal rakhna, khayaal rakhna, khayaal rakhna

waqaar is ka kabhi na kam ho, kabhi na kam ho
yeh sabz parcham tamaam aalam mein mohtaram ho

naey dinon ki musaafaton ko ujaalna hai
wafa se aasooda saaton ko sambhaalna hai
ummeed-e-subh-e-jamaal rakhna, khayal rakhna
khayaal rakhna, khayaal rakhna, khayaal rakhna

watan se ham hain, watan hai ham se, khayaal rakhna
chalo mila kar qadam qadam se, khayaal rakhna

naey dinon ki musaafaton ko ujaalna hai
wafa se aasooda saaton ko sambhaalna hai
ummeed-e-subh-e-jamaal rakhna, khayal rakhna
khayaal rakhna, khayaal rakhna, khayaal rakhna

`Attitudes are self-created ,we can choose to be victimized by the people and circumstances or we can look at life with an open attitude and be victorius.Your perspective and choice of attitude give you the power to be in control. That is the essence of true freedom`.

`Khuda kray meri arz e pak p utray wo fasl e gul jisay andesha e zawaal na ho… Khuda kray meray ik bhi hm watan k lye hayaat jurm na ho , zindagi wabaal na ho.`

Long live the land of our dreams!

`Pity the nation`( Khalil Jibran) …

Posted in Karwi Goli

I got to read this poem of Khalil Jibran on the artsy hands
( one of my favorite blogs) and wanted as many people as possible to read this poem and contemplate on it .

`Pity the nation that is full of beliefs and empty of religion.
Pity the nationt that wears a cloth it does not weave,
eats a bread it does not harvest,
and drinks a wine that flows not from its own wine-press.
Pity the nation that acclaims the bully as hero,
and that deems the glittering conqueror bountiful.
Pity a nation that despises a passion in its dream,
yet submits in its awakening.
Pity the nation that raises not its voice
save when it walks in a funeral,
boasts not except among its ruins,
and will rebel not save when its neck is laid
between the sword and the block.
Pity the nation whose statesman is a fox,
whose philosopher is a juggler,
and whose art is the art of patching and mimicking.
Pity the nation that welcomes its new ruler with trumpeting,
and farewells him with hooting,
only to welcome another with trumpeting again.
Pity the nation whose sages are dumb with years
and whose strong men are yet in the cradle.
Pity the nation divided into into fragments,
each fragment deeming itself a nation`.

THE CONCEPT … BEHIND MY FLICK OF PEN !

Posted in Hear ,Hear...!

Hello world !

thank you for popping in ! Go through what the blog has to offer at present and leave your comments ,if you please. Your comments to the write-ups are highly appreciated .

Talking about the blog, I created it to give a vent to whatever I felt about the situations and circumstances. I resided upon writing to express myself because I feel that words are a powerful medium to get myself heard. And it is loads better to write about your  opinions then pester your family and friends with ` I feel that/I do not think so …`

I hope you can  forgive me if I fail to follow some stylistic conventions in my write-ups or my opinions seem naive to you , I am sure you will help me work around the loop holes.

Happy reading !

The FB BLOG

Posted in Rants

Hey,you at the fb ?
Nops
q paindu ha kya`???
giving her the `oh-whatever-cum-exasperated` shrug,I continued doing what I have been since the time the fb fever has gotten over the people , i.e staring in the thin air ,thinking of pulling either my hair or of those who ask me this irritating question and then further irritate me by their smug looks clearly stating `hey look,a paindu`.
I literally get annoyed when I am asked this question almost every third day .And what I do is that, think and give my own self a `oh-whatever` shrug!
Coming to it,what is with this thing that has got the people all hooked up? You get facebook thrown into your face in every possible conversation. The good-old daily conversation has ended to `I poked you` , `hey checked my profile picture`, `man you must check my status`. What the !
Come on people its just a social network , why going berserk over it !
I miss the times when the conversation used to be techno-free! `I went there`, `abbu said that, ammi said that` kind of conversation …lame but homey !l
This over-obsession over fb does irritate me but the thing that really bothers me is that `since when has an internet application become a criteria of standardizing someone or passing a judgement over someone`???huh!!! You use fb ,ok fine ,your personal problem,no one can tell you not to but who are you to categorize someone as a dumb or intelligent by his `I have a fb`, ` I do not have a fb` stance !!!
Yours truly is seriously not being naive in giving these comments. I have been a member of this network and I left it . That`s it! There could be a hell lot of reasons for that (which I may not give ,necessarily) .It could be that I found it was just a means of giving vent to your feelings,a medium which the people use to make their voice heard when they feel they cannot open up face to face ,it could be the religious reasons or it could be the thing that I found fcebook merely a social phenomena think. I think I am just in my stand of banning fb after the `Draw Muhammad ( S.A.W.W) DAY`. Facebook did not sue the creator of the page and if I am not mistaken various other pages of the same nature keep appearing besides fb garners millions from every single account (bucks ,of which we are not sure what purpose they are being used for, one thing I understood from quite a few many sources. )
The fb lovers tell me that I can get my opinions heard better, preach my religion better, register my criticism through it. They could be right but personally I feel I have got a couple of other effective mediums for my voice to be heard, mediums I m convinced of in my heart and comfortable working in ,and just for the sake of it being a social phenomena I am not going to be a part of the `bheer-chaaal`. I do not want to sound  a wet blanket but I have a feel that this thing is going to do us no good and not going to take us anywhere . My mates tell me that a single person`s `I hate fb` stance is not going to make people reduce using It or make the organization suffer but I believe every single action is important in building up a chain-reaction ` I am the only one but I am one,I cannot do everything but I can do something and as I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something that I can` .
Enough of the heavy,so,that`s it I have finally lifted the curtains over my `I do not have a facebook` mystery! The status ,has finally been uploaded .And even after all this lengthy hand effort ,if any one of you asks me again `hey you at the fb `? Then… I surely am…going to poke you ,this time !

TO PAKISTAN … FROM PAKISTAN

Posted in Karwi Goli

TO PAKISTAN … FROM PAKISTAN !

To you !

Happy sixty-fourth birthday to me and happy independence day to you ! Speaking honestly ,I do not know how to or where to begin what I would like to say today (sigh!). Many goras / firangis speculate that it could be one of my last birthdays.I could not have agreed more with them, you see, considering the terrible state you all are consistently driving me to .
Its my birthday and I did not want to sound accusing but I hope you will excuse me on the pretext that someone who has faced so much is bound to get sentimental sometimes .So ,on this particular birthday of mine ,I decide to get it all out ,to give a vent to all the feelings that have been bottled up since I started moving on a down –hill process ,because of `you`.

I do not think there is any point in it so , I will not go into the account of my creation. All of you have read repeatedly,`Pakistan Musalmun ki be-intaha koshishun k bd wajood ma aya `. I just require and request of you to give the events, the hard work, the zeal and the sacrifices that were put into my creation a moment`s thought and ask yourselves `should this be the fate of a land that has been created on the sacrifices of your ancestors, for whose creation many had to lay their lives ,a land which is an embodiment of the aspirations ,inspirations and values of those who created it with their blood` ?
Ponder, if you can, into the fact ,what I was and what has become of me in a mere span of sixty four years. When Muhammad Ali Jinnah said “Pakistan has been created to exist forever and it will by the grace of God exist forever “. I felt I was going to have an eternal life, till the world itself does not end . For Muhammad Ali Jinnah had promised that Pakistan will live forever because of the sheer determination, force of character and the mujahid like spirit of its people .I believed on Muhammad Ali Jinnah`s words that is why do not fear my existence but the way `you` are drawing me towards, will surely make existence a misery for both I and `you` my kids. Witnessing the portrayal of selflessness, sacrifice ,self respect and immense courage during my creation ,I had my hopes build around the allusion that each generation of my children would be a shade of the Johar brothers and Ch. Rehmat Ali but among many other allusions this one also failed to become a reality…

The day I was created , I was clad in white -an all peace entity ,today after sixty four years of my creation, I – your motherland wear a garment of red ! The blood of the many innocent people which you shed in this so-called war against terrorism of yours!
I had been created on the basis of a sacred religion but today, over the course of 64 years,my kids, you have transformed me into a western-hybrid that it is hard to judge what my real face was. `You` seem to me a west-impressed –inferiority stricken wannabe. Tell you what guys, the only solution to the problem you and I face today ( I need not address the problems) is to go back to the roots ,bring back the very religion on whose foundation and pretext I was created.
`You` see the state of this land and muse over your cup of coffees ;`what has become of this land, man! Its going shambles, who is responsible for all this? Obviously it’s the rulers. What,me ? How could it be me. Its not an individual action which has led this country to this state . I cannot be held responsible for anything`…Well you are in for a surprise, dude because it is`YOU` . `You` yes,you are responsible for everything that is happening to `your` homeland. You- the one who does not SPEAK ,does not RETALIATE ! You- who is keeping mum amidst all these drone attacks which are making me bleed to death ! You –who has done nothing in removing the tags of illiteracy , nepotism and black-marketing off me. You- who being in a country that has been hit hard from all sides, lives an alienated life from whatever is happening. And finally, you- for whom the response to everything is ` pr hm kr bhi kya skte hain…` ! Its an interesting thing I often muse over;who do you think is going to restore me to my grace ? You see , `You` the educted guy leave the country for good instead of playing your role in taking the country out of the many crises it faces. Instead of living here and giving service to your own people ,you go abroad, instead of helping me build my economy, you fill the foreign banks. Instead of bringing forward the committed people, you vote election after election to the same faces, same agendas but different parties ,once bitten twice shy thing does not work for `you`. Illiterate, corrupt people are becoming your rulers, sitting on the prestigious seats once resided upon by Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Liaqat Ali Khan and `you` did not even speak out save a few incoherent grumbles. So,who is going to be the messiah ?
See my point ?
Not speaking out ,is what has led us to this verge .`Your` rulers know that you are not going to complaint no matter what happens and `this` is what has given them a hold over you. Ever heard of a land where the two groups openly abusing and accusing each other of heinous crimes ,one day,get together the next day `qaum k wasee tarr mafaad ma` .While being together each of them tries to shade the other`s sins with a million-dollar smile and the day after that they are again at loggerheads, hurling obnoxious abuses , this also ` qaum k wasee tarr mafaad ma`. Habib Jalib says , `sirf chand logun ne haq tmhara cheena ha ,khaak esay jeenay p ye bhi koe jeena ha ` !
My body still hurts ,where `you` amputated it. Seeing `Bangladesh` as a separate body makes every part of my body weep . SPEAK- ACT,if you want to save your motherland from another amputation !
Action is what matters not the fruit of action. Every action matters, you might not be getting reward of your action taken for me, in your life but your generations to come will live in a safe ,prosperous and sound ME. .You know what, the people who worked and sacrificed most in my cause were those living in the Hindu majority areas, who knew they would never make it to Pakistan nevertheless they strived for all those who were to come.
Its my birthday and I feel I am entitled to a gift from `you`, and I,Pakistan on my 64th birthday request of you to fight for your integrity and make Pakistan ,the Pakistan of Iqbal and Muhhammad Ali Jinnah`s dreams …lest it becomes too late! Everything counted,I still have this belief deep down that `you`,yes the very person who is reading these words, will save me from my presently anticipated end , on the basis of his/her sheer determination and force of character ,the elements which my founder promised would be in every citizen of mine.

`you are the only one,but you are one.You cannot do everything but you can do something .And as you cannot do everything you should not refuse to do the something which you can `
`Uth k dardmandun k subh o sham badlo bhi ,Jis ma tm nae shaamil wo nizaam badlo bhi ,dostun ko pehchano dusmanun ko pehchano, das crore insaano ` ( Habib Jalib)
Yours` truly,
THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN !
